LTTE GUNMEN KILL ANOTHER PLOT MEMBER IN BATTICALOA.

July 06.11.00 AM:Despite assurances of the Ranil Wickremesinghe government that they would stop political murders of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), suspected Tamil Tiger gunmen killed a political opponent of the People’s Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam (PLOT), Batticaloa police said.
The victim, Justin Vairamuttu Mohanadan (33) scared of a LTTE assassination was living in a PLOT office , the police revealed.
LTTE gunmen, riding on a motor bicycle shot Mohanadan six times while the victim was riding on a bicycle to kill the Police said.
According to Batticaloa Police, investigating in to the assassination, on the fateful day Mohandas visited a relative in Sinnathivu and returning to the PLOT office where he lived to avoid LTTE assassins.
Members of the opposition political parties and and intelligence men of the security services are being killed by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
Members of the EPDP, EPRLF, and PLOT often become victims of the LTTE gun men. The LTTE, which is alleged to be a Fascist party claim that they are the sole representatives of Sri Lanka’s Tamil people . Therefore , they kill members of the opposing political parties.
In an agreement signed with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam the Ranil Wickremesinghe government accepted they were the sole representatives of the Tamil people of Sri Lanka.
But the Sri Lanka Constitution guarantees all citizens the right to form any political party.
