NEFARIOUS INTERNATIONAL POWERS WOULD STEAL SRI LANKA’S OIL WEALTH USING LTTE AND UNP , CHARGES JVP

Nefarious international powers are working overtime to steal Sri Lanka’s oil deposits making use of the Tamil separatists and the United National Party charged the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa.
Weerawansa who is also the leader of his parliamentary group said in an exclusive interview with the country’s leading Sunday newspaper Divaina Sunday edition that the international powers would try to do it by a de-facto division of the country using a United Nation’s Peace Keeping Force.
Wimal Weerawansa said the wicked international powers divided Sudan and invaded Iraq for the same purpose of thieving their oil resources. The Norwegian envoy Eric Solheim is in Sudan trying to find out ways of managing their oil wealth, Weerawansa charged.
He said the dark forces were using United National Party’s Ranil Wickremesinghe and the LTTE separatists as pawns in this dangerous game.
The JVP parliamentary leader said , under this plan, although the conspirators would call a United Nation’s Peace Keeping Force claiming the Ceasefire Monitors could no longer manage the violence ultimately the Tamil separatists or the Sinhalese would not gain anything but the international back-stabbers would grab the country’s oil resources. He charged the scheming powers were managing the violence in the country to that end.
Weerawansa reminded in the year 2002 the United National Party government led by Ranil Wickremesinghe not only signed the Ceasefire Agreement (CFA) with the help of the Norwegians but they also made the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation sign another pact with the Norwegian Oil Company Norpec to explore our oil. Norway knows the extent of Sri Lanka’s oil deposits than any other country.
The Japanese peace envoy Yasusi Akashi has already told an Australian broadcasting service that it would be necessary to call in a United nations Peace Keeping Force if the peace monitors failed. (The LTTE has already decided that EU monitors could not work beyond September 1.)
In this background working as cat’s paws of the international conspirators the UNP was working hard to destabilize the country. Ranil was being helped by Chandrika , Weerawansa charged.
He said what was happening today was that both Ranil and the LTTE were acting a role expected out of them by the international schemers.
He said it was mandatory for all people who loved Sri Lanka to prepare the masses for this great national disaster.
He said Ranil Wickremesinghe was ready to resign from his party leadership after his great defeat at the last Presidential election but he remained without doing so at the request of a certain embassy in Colombo. Today the LTTE did not need any Daya Master since they had Ranil Master and Tissa Attanayaka Master, Weerawansa said.
