TWO TERRORISTS MISSED THEIR TARGET AND GOT KILLED IN JAFFNA
ONE SOLDIER DIES BY SNIPER SHOT IN MANNAR

Los Angeles:-Two suspected LTTE terrorists missed their target of a deadly grenade and got killed by two alert army soldiers, police reports from Jaffna said.
The unlucky rebels were riding a red colored Bajaj motor bicycle at Urimpipar junction in Jaffna and swooped past the soldiers throwing the deadly grenade.
The grenade missed them and exploded elsewhere making a big noise.
The alert soldiers opened fire killing both riders.
The unidentified bodies were transferred to a hospital morgue after a magisterial inquiry.
But another army soldier was not so lucky. LTTE terrorists waiting in ambush killed W.D.P.C. Priyadarshana when they opened fire on an army truck on Mannar Madawachchiya Road. He succumbed to his injuries at the intensive care ward at the Mannar Hospital. The body was handed over to Kaddaiadampa army camp in Mannar.
