VELUPILLAI PRABHAKARAN TELLS HOW TO ACHIEVE SEPARATE STATE

September 08.10.30 PM:Independence , sovereignty, and territorial integrity for a nation would not be served on a platter but had to be achieved through hard work said Velupillai Prabhakaran , the supremo of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam ( LTTE ) declaring open the Headquarters of the Tamil Eeelam Police at the Tiger stronghold of Kilinochchi.

The Voice of the Tigers, subsidized by the Ranil Wickremesinghe government recently, reported the surprise ceremony of the opening of the headquarters of the separatist Police Force. Later the official news website, Tamil Net published photographs of the ceremony.

Earlier scheduled to be held on September 22, the LTTE cancelled all previous arrangements for the ceremony and held it on September 7.

Sources in Wanni said unusual security arrangements were made for the arrival of Velupillai Prabhakaran for the opening ceremony to prevent an attack on the leader.

The chief of the Police P.Nadesan received the Supremo and conducted him to the new building where he cut a red ribbon and declared the building open.

He said the Tamil Eelam Police was established ten years ago, and had done an exemplary service to the Tamil people by eradicating crimes from Northern and Eastern provinces.
