TWO FEMALES, ONE A MINOR ESCAPE FROM SAMPOOR LTTE CAMP

June 30.10.20 AM:Belying the publicized claim that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam had released child soldiers two female cadres of the LTTE escaped their captors and surrendered to the Sri Lanka Navy detachment at Sampoor.
One of them a 15 year minor said the Liberation Tigers were holding hundreds of minors at the came where she was abducted and held for military training.
The two female cadres one (15) and the other (23) said they were being held against their will by the LTTE at the LTTE training camp at Sampoor, about 13 kilometers South East of Trincomalee.
Both females were abducted from Trincomalee from their homes.
Security forces handed over these two females to Muttur Police for further investigations.
Police said the names of the two cannot be identified to avoid retaliation by the Tigers.
